College leaders have improved the quality of provision. They have created a culture in which staff work resolutely in the best interests of their learners and the college is a purposeful community.
The proportion of learners who successfully complete and achieve their qualifications has risen over the previous three years and is now high. Learners on vocational courses and apprentices aged 16 to 24 are particularly successful.
Learners are very respectful of each other and staff and behave well around the college.
Senior leaders have set clear, high expectations for the promotion of mathematics and English. Their investment in training for staff ensures that they promote learners' understanding of mathematics particularly well.
